Picinisco is a beautiful village in the Lazio region of Italy. At an altitude of 850metres above sea-level you drive up hair-pin bends to reach it. The heart of the village is the Piazza where locals and tourists alike sip drinks in the 2 bars. Picinisco is on the fringes of the Abruzzi National Park. The main church of Picinisco is worth seeing, there is a very nice wooden pulpit. Check the ads, sometimes very nice concerts are held in it!
