Portofino Travel Guide

All I can say is wow! The view, the food, the ocean. Arriving here via car is simply breathtaking. If you have the time and money to spend the night (or several), you will never regret it. I only was here for a day trip, but it created lasting memories. Lunch, dinner, and swimming in the ocean were all outstanding. Parking your car is a pain. Just be patient and prepared to walk a ways to your destination. A very fun and beautiful place. One of my favorite in all of Italy...or Europe for that matter.

I had some time to look for hotels and motels too. I found couple of very nice roof top suites that are very nice for honeymoon, although never went there for honeymoon...
Of course, keep away from main marina if looking for decent prices.

Very expensive place to have meals. Try the near villages to get good typical food at good price. It's easier if you travel by bus from Rapallo, because the road is very narrow and you can only park in private parking.
