It's huge, full of traffic jams and especially crowded in the period of the Salone Nautico di Genova, the world's largest nautic fair, featuring more than 2000 boats every year.
Otherwise, there's a fantastic aquarium, one of the largest in Europe and the beautiful city center with the shopping areas with all the best italian brands. It's very similar to Milan's via Montenapoleone.
Beeing an industrial town, there's not much to see but it's great to visit the Salone Nautico. There's always on display the "Palinuro", the beautiful sailer ship of the Accademia Navale Italiana.
