Lago di Como is one of my favourite places in the world. The people are friendly. The boutiques are EXPENSIVE but you can find high street shops around the corner.

Te city of my dream!! Really!! Fashion, nightlife, cool people, mountains......... I like everything there :))

In spring/summer time you meet lots (thousands) of people (18-26 average age) on weds at "mom", a bar in "viale montenero" with a small park in front of it. just drink your beer with friends paying 3 euros for a 66 cl beer you buy from guys around.

Best shopping...glamour and culture... you can not miss an Opera Show at the Scala...ciao amore!

Its a nice city if you like luxury and have a lot of money to spend, becuase its well overprised. The areas just outside milan are wonderfull and average priced. Good nightlife and reasonable amount of culture. Book your hotel or hostel well in advance otherwise you pay a lot of money!!!!

Bergamo is laying in the north of Italy. Next to the airport Milano (Orio al Serio). When you have the time to visit Bergamo, you should go to Alta Citta.  This is the remaining part of the old city, and is more than 2000 years old. It's really worth it if you like old culture and good restaurants. Have fun!

milan is based on a cross like structure. in order to see all the best things in milan one most start at the san siro stadium also known as Giuseppe Meazza and draw a straight line all the way through to the linate airport. this will makee you see all the hotspots including the historical sforza castle, the city center for shopping and obviously the catherdral the duomo. the other line of the cross is from the duomo going through to the colonne di san lorenzo and the other end of the town towards the central station. through this line you basically stick to the old gates of the rich, noble and medival milan. hence you experience the modern night life following the horizontal lines of the gates while the vertical ones are the lines of culture and history.

Bergamo is a nice town. For what concernes nighlife, there are a lot of good pubs often full of people. I advice the Keller Pub (in Curno, it's pretty famous), a rock 'n roll/heavy metal pub full of good beers and live music, and the Circolino Basso (not far from the town center, in a place called "Malpensata") where the atmosphere is very funny and everything is quite cheap. A lot of discos are round Bergamo, but the only discopub in the city centre is the Velvet (just near "Porta Nuova", in the real centre of the city): in this pub there's people from every country of the world, and every tuesday there's the university party full of house and dance music. There's just an hostel in Bergamo, the "Youth hostel". It's near the stadium and it's clean, modern and well-placed.

If you're on sports, specially football, don't miss a Inter or milan game at San Siro... such a nice stadium! The red tribune is the better place to watch the games...

Here is the base for the Bernina Mount climbing.
One of the best solutions is to go to Rifugio Marinelli for the night, and try to reach more than 4000 m starting early the following morning.
It is not easy, you'll need specific equipment.

Get up to Monte Ghisallo and visit the church of the Madonna de Ghisallo. It is full with old bikes from Fausto Coppi to Giani Bugno.

Go to the navigli around 6-7 pm and have an aperitiv (which atually means you pay the drink and then have a larege buffet to eat) at any of the bars

Funiculare is fab, great views from the top. Stay to the bottom carriage for a more interesting ride back down!!

Love this city. Is glamourous fun. A little aloof!! The Duomo is brilliant (has a lift unlike the Duomo in Florence).

unreal shops!! amazing place when it snows there!!

Milan is very nice to visit. The Dome and the Sforzesco Castel are two places not to miss, and between them there are a lot of fashion shops.
