Good food at Petrone (viale molise, about 5 km outside Larino) and 'il profeta' (on the road from upper Larino to the old town). No nice hotels at all - if you go there, then just for a day trip from Termoli, where you can find many nice places to stay (e.g. Hotel Cian).

Has a train that runs several times a day from and to termoli. Can be visited without car.
