Alessandria, Piedmont Region, Italy
Alessandria is a beautiful old town. The pedestrian areas in the center are great meeting places and full of people especially in the evenings and weekends.

If you happen to be there in September, one of the biggest classical guitar festivals in the world is going on there, so you could check it out if you feel like.

Piedmont Region Health
Alba, Piedmont Region, Italy
Alba is a very nice town, small and intimate. The main point to go is to eat and drink the best food/wine in Italy. Around the center there are many typical restaurants were eating and drinking is simply wonderful.
Also walking through the town is a nice experience. You can see the cathidral and the dome, sovrasting Alba.
If you have time and the sun is shining, I recommend a little trip on the country around Alba. The view is amazing and between the hills you can spot often secret places of great interest

Ivrea, Piedmont Region, Italy
Ivrea, is a lovely suburban village just outside of Torino. The historic Old City is delightful at Christmas and Balla Pasticceria is a must!!!! The quaint town is truly full of an aristocratic feel, and brings many back to the day of the Classical period. The original Roman tower still exist in Ivrea and the charm of it's well situated location is beyond words. Also, small little towns such as Vico, Borgo Franco, Lessolo and Bio Dora are a stones throw away; for a real Italian rustic experience these are a definite for your travel and reachable by car. Both Torino and Ivrea are making big strides in popularity and have been hugely undervalued for their charm and beauty for far too many years. See Ivrea for its genuine quaintness and truly historic preservation which it offers any tourist or visitor. The city is very open to diverse travelers. Ivrea is a mountain town, so those who love hiking and the outdoors you have found your paradise.
