Erice Hotel- Very Friendly and helpful family running this hotel. Good value for nightly rate.

Nice restaurant with outdoor seating. Food was very good, both pasta and seafood. My only complaint was with the service, it was 15 mins from being seated that a drinks order was taken and then it seemed we were inconveniencing the waiter.

Transportation

There is little to no reliable public transport, RENT A CAR!

I would not recommend staying in this area for more than a day or two. Make sure to visit Erice by taking cable car from Trapani

Very nice place! Also worth to stay more than just for going to the airport. Clean (really transparent!!) see - and this directly in the town, very good food (the restaurants open for dinner at 8 p.m.!). Very clean streets. The possibility to go to the isles (Isoli Egadi). But attention with the price of the tickets - we payed almost 30 Euros for 3 people one way -but I suppose this prize is not too rigid... (On the internet it was written less then 20 Euros...) NIce place to stay and close to the ciy centre with breakfast (but a bit loud in the night because on the main street): BB Il Sole Blu - ca 25 Euro p.P p.N. A very informal place with huge rooms and nice hotel keeper.

One of the best restaurants for a nice dinner (you need to prenote, its very popular and getting full very fast!): Tentazioni di Gusto It opens at 8 p.m. Fresh (!) fish, good wine, nice atmosphere, prices OK - we spent for Primo, Secondo, Vino e Acqua sth about 35 Euro pP.
