The skiing here is not that brilliant... and neither is the nightlife (believe me, I worked in a club here for a season...). There is not much young people around, and if you dont ocme by car you are really really Fu***d !!! Invest a bit more and go just some Km further up to Canazei which is much better! But hey, people are different, so you might like it in Moena... who knows. Be aware of "sticky" locals though... even though its cool to use them for certain advantages (such as scooter-rides in the snow, free drinks in bars etc etc).

The thursday market... nice to see real italian people of the north trading their goods.

Lovely old bishop's town, with beautiful white tower and a duomo with medieval frescoes. Excellent classical hotel 'The Elefant' where an elephant once stopped on his way as a present to the German emperor. The combination of Tyrolean and Italian culture and cuisine has led to a large number of great restaurants, such as the Traubenwirt. Monastery of Neustift also very worth visiting and they have a great cellar for a speck schuttelbrot lunch, which goes well with some Forst beer or the monastery's own wines

The most loveable mixture of Southern German/Austrian and Italian culture. This city is completely bi-lingual. Even the street names are both in German and Italian.

Sweet place. I can reccomend getting a mountain bike and travelling here. also, if you're going to kill youself throwing yourself off one of the surrounding mounains on a bike would be by far the best way to go out!! ;) incredible fun

Excellent hiking area in the brenta dolomites

very nice place for relaxing, hiking, biking and playing golf.

A wonderfull valley to stay. Lots of sun and good weather all the year.
If you like hiking, go to the Martell vally, it's really beautifull. If you like nice views, try passing the Madritschjoch to the other valley. Stay in night in the Schaubachhutte

A very good hotel is Berghoteltirol ( www.berghoteltirol.it ). The campsite ( www.caravanparksexten.it ) is one of the best for wellness and ski.

Mostly skiing place, but wonderful, with great long, rides! best of all, they actually have night life, so if u r not to tired from day, night is waiting for u!
