Fiesole has some nice Roman sites that you can walk around and visit. There is a Roman amphitheater, Roman bathhouses, Roman toilets, Roman pools, remnants of the Etruscan walls, and a Museum with other Roman and Etruscan artifacts. Also, an amazing view overlooking Florence.

01710Cave di Majano - very nice restaurant in the middle of nowhere - If Peter Ustinov would still be alive - you would be able to meet him there!! I was lucky - and I did!

01410A beautiful place with an open amphitheater. approx 25km from Frienze. Good restraunts with wonderful views. Romantic place to be in, with your loved ones.
