Travel Tips from people who've been to Orvieto
Orvietto has absolutely beautiful ceramics and many of the local shops will ship them back for you to your own country. Try a shop called Giacomini. The colours they use in their ceramics are superb. It is a family run business who are just passionate about what they do. 34 P.zza Duomo. ph 00390763343970 Good tip? (0) The church is beautiful and most noted about the city, but one of my favorite places was a bit down the "mountain" to the Etruscan grave site where you can view excavated tombs. Also the wine here is very good and the views by the "funicolare"! Good tip? (0) A very tiny town in Italy...The locals here were amazing and very patient with my extremely broken Italian. If you smile and are patient with them, they will be patient with you and more willing to help you out Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Orvieto
