Just before Falmouth on the way from Montego Bay is Greenwood Great House. The road going up is quite bad but worth the effort. The house used to be owned by the family of author Elizabeth Barrett Browning. This is a well preserved historical house, once the home of plantation/slave owners. The most fantstic thing is the view out to sea. There is a 72 ft balcony with an unfettered view and you can actually see the curvature of the earth as a result - wonderful!
