Negril Travel Guide

Negril is on the western coast of Jamaica and is home to several resorts, including on by Sandals, which I have visited. The beaches are amazing!

I was in Negril this past November. This was considered off season so the packages were a bit cheaper. Dec - April is peak season so expect to pay higher prices. Water activities were great since it was 85 degrees the whole time we were there (7 days). Must do: horseback riding, jet ski, parasailing, visit Y/S waterfall, Black River adventure. Also, you must visit Sweet Spice and 3 Dives restaurant for the best jerk chicken and curry goat around Negril. The local all praise these places. Rick's Cafe is too commercial - pricey food and drinks (I just went to watch the cliff divers). Cab rides cost an arm and a leg because you are a tourist ($10-$20 roundtrip to town and back).

WHERE DO I BEGIN,  NEGRIL, NEGRIL, NEGRIL, I MEAN I CAN LIVE THERE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, SERIOUSLY! THE PLACE IS SO ALL OF EVERYTHING IT'S UNBELIVEABLE, BIG UP!!!! COCA LA PALM RESORT, I WILL ALWAYS COME  BACK TO STAY, THE WHOLE STAY I WAS IN PARADISE,SMOKE ALL THE KIKI I WANT FREELY ON  THE 7 MILE WHITE SAND BEACH,  PARASAILING,  GLASS BOTTOM BOAT TOUR,  ALL DAY JET SKI'S, MARGARITAVILLE, FRESH LOBSTER/FISH,  AND IT GOES ON AND ON. OVERALL THE WHOLE STRIP ROCKS.............................
