Kingston is the largest city in Jamaica as well as its capital, but it is visited more seldomly than other parts of Jamaica, partly to some parts of the town having a somewhat shady reputation. However Kingston is the birthplace of reggae, and places worth visiting include the Bob Marley museum.

Travel Tips from people who've been to Kingston
Kingston,J.A is amazing,i remember goin there back when i was younger,i could'nt beleive it,the similarities, the people, the vibe, music, culture,it was all somethin i could relate to.People are very friendly, warm, easy going. The good thing is that you now have New Kingston,so its like being in Two cities at once, lol.Club atmosphere is rocking, good music and great nights out always.Visiting the island is even better, scenary is just breath taking, the drives, mountains, twists and turn of the highways,i enjoyed myself so much that i go back whenever i can!! Good tip? (0) It is one of the scariest and most beautiful places I have been.Take at least 2 local armed bodyguards or more with you or you could get into trouble.Take lots of cash.(for safe return). Dont go to any of the clubs outside your resort..After I left a local bar, they had a raid and found like 10 ice picks ,14 machete's and 1 gun.(Rough place) Good tip? (0) Dunn's River Falls is a must see. I know it is pretty famous, but it was so much fun climbing up this waterfall. Be prepared to get really wet, some people were not wearning there swimming suits and were not prepared to get soak.....Also taking home the Jerk Chicken spices is a MUST!! Good tip? (0)
