If you are planing  a trip to Jan Mayen you should bring IS-Binocular with you (IS=Image stabilaizor) for a trip on a cruise ship or Expedition it is necesseary because of rough sea!! otherwise watching the nature by normal binocular is not very funny and can cause headache and other problems as well(like sea sickness etc)
