4325572Very impressive bridge. Only a pity that you have to pay to walk over it, but don't worry there is a normal bridge just a few 100 meter away. I was told that sometimes the people who take the tickets stop at 5 o'clock and that after they are gone you wan just walk over it without paying but I didn't have such luck. Touristy village in the middle of the town, nice to walk around in. Nice half day trip from Hiroshima.

0027Lived in Iwakuni for a year. USMC. Kintai Bridge is a neat attraction. Visit the malls and look right then left when crossing the street. Similar weather to Tennessee.

003know someone who can tell you what train to get and know where you are going. Always have at least 1000 yen on hand
