Kobe is the capital of Hyogo Prefecture and one of Japan's ten largest cities. Located between the sea and the Rokko mountain range, Kobe is also considered one of Japan's most attractive cities. Kobe has been an important port city for many centuries. Kobe Port was one of the first Japanese ports to be opened to foreign trade in the late Edo Period, and the city remains one of Japan's more cosmopolitan cities. In January 1995, Kobe was hit by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, which killed over 5000 people and destroyed tens of thousands of buildings. A decade later, the city is completely rebuilt, and few signs of the terrible event are left.

  0533神戶和舞子很近...二十分鐘電車就到... 去到神戶已經是夜晚...在神戶海旁走走...吹吹海風... 神戶這個城市有蠻多西洋式建築...晚上還要打起浪漫暗光...  拍拖聖地!!!  神戶夜景... 其實斑竹喜歡橫濱的夜景多些...那邊樓多...看夜景還有音樂... 但不知為何神戶的相片就照的好些... 神戶港邊也有一個紅瓦倉庫...  昏暗燈花下的角落中...斑竹在等待著誰...  
在神戶轉了個圈...走馬觀花...但已經很累...來到神戶...有錢人就去吃神戶牛柳... 像斑竹這等窮人...吃不起神戶產的牛肉...在神戶吃頓牛肉也算!!! 
鐵板牛柳...1400yen...和港幣100元!!! 但已是很好吃...幸福得就要掉眼淚的斑竹...  和斑竹在香港吃的很不同...很鬆的肉質... 真正的神戶牛柳要5000yen...合港幣350元...斑竹只有在腦海中想像它的味道了... 今天連走四個地方...早上五點半離開酒店...回到京都時已經是晚上十點半... 有些太過充實的一天... Good tip? (0)  918118Was there an earthquake here? You'd ever know (unless you were awakened by your wife during a tremor like I was, in the middle of the night). Sheraton Kobe is the best! Our view overlooked the bay area and a mountain. Beautiful! The Japanese were very curious about our African-American toddler son, but were respectful and polite.Japan, overall, is the cleanest country I've ever visited.In bigger cities there are homeless and social ills, but you have to search and pry to find them. (0)  03317Is it true what they say about Kobe beef being the best in the world...I would have to say in my personal onpinion, yes when it comes to quality, but no when it comes to preparation.
Lovely display of various artwork and statues along the main road going into the city centre. A very westernized city, but not as crazy as Tokyo. Good tip? (0)
