Kyoto Natural Environment

Kyoto is a stunning city with a timeless charm, where you aren't overwhelmed by the newness and high-tech bustle you encounter in Tokyo, my one bit of advice is really take a look at the weather before you go. I went in August (it was a school trip for a competition so there wasn't really an  option)  and  it was 90 degrees or  more the whole time we were there and it  was cicada season. Still, it was an amazing  trip and I'd recommend it for anyone.
