Travel Tips from people who've been to Naha
To experience Naha, Okinawa, Japan you must go shopping down Kokusai Street. Open markets and shops with a large variety of items to purchase for yourself and folks back home. Everyone is friendly, and the restaurants have picture menus for those that do not read Japanese. Good tip? (0) Naha is like many other modern Japanese cities loud and not so interesting. When you come to Okinawa, don't stay there long time, go and see the nature, the sea and enjoy the local atmosphere outside of the town. Good tip? (0) This is where a lot of "Mai Land" Japanese go for vacation.Great shopping and nightlife.Watch for the "JP's" The Japanese police. They will "billy club" you for spitting on the streets, seriously I've seen it.
