Eric's Tip on Tokyo
Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan
Carry lots of bottled water with you! It gets incredibly hot during summer.
2.
Andrew's Tip on Fukuoka
Fukuoka, Kansai Region, Japan
Brush up on your Japanese and bring a guide book. Fukuoka has relatively few English speaking locals compared to other Asian cities.
3.
Alexei's Tip on Kami-miyajima
Kami-miyajima, Chūbu Region, Japan
Never....ever...feed the wild deer walking here, after surviving a major confrontation only by throwing the bag of chips as far away as possible and running like the wind, i talk from a personal experience.Dont.....feed...them

Daniel's Tip on Tokyo
Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan
STAY AWAY FROM "OPEI" BARS!! ONE MINUTE YOU ARE HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME WITH LOVELY GIRLS THAT DO ALL KINDS OF PERVERTED THINGS TO YOU. THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW, YOU ARE GIVEN A CHECK FOR HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF YEN.
5.
Paul's Tip on Tokyo
Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan
Tokyo's address system is really confusing. The number on a building corresponds with when it was built on that street, not it's location. So building 15 could lie next to building 43. Expect to get lost if trying to navigate by yourself!!Also, try and learn as much Japanese before going as a majority of your run-ins will not (want to?) speak English. Good advice for traveling anywhere really.SUPER safe, the crime here against tourists is practically non-existent.
6.
Jason's Tip on Okinawa
Okinawa, Okinawa Region, Japan
Stay clear of the "buy-me-drink" bars. They're Philippino hookers, some possibly used to be men. and to buy them a drink its at least $20. And thats just for them to sit and talk to you. Anything else... you will pay extra. and they are very annoying. Mama-san doesnt like when you try to haggle the price down. But go to Center Stage. its a great club and the women love Americans
7.
Kevin's Tip on Sayama
Sayama, Kantō Region, Japan
What can i say about sayama, well first off it is convenient to tokyo, nightlife is fairly limited but there is a night club although a bit cheesy, the local food as in all japanese towns is very variedand you can always find food of great taste and value at the smaller places, I would advise women not to walk around alone at night though.

Kevin's Tip on Tokyo
Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan
Tokyo, what can i say, tokyo is truelly a great city. the many different districts are where you will find whatever you want from the fashion and style of Ginza to the elecronic magnitude of akihabbra there is something for everyone, if you want good nightlife then go to roppongi where you can party the night away until the early hours some bars will stay open until 7am if there is enough trade for them, one tip dont start too early or burn out before it starts properly will be hard to avoid
9.
Jesse's Tip on Tokyo
Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan
Bear in mind, when visiting Roppongi at night you may be harassed by aggressive hawkers advertising their establishment's wares (free drinks, free titty dance, come on, mahn!). Keep moving and ignore them, they will move on to greener pastures.
10.
Rina's Tip on Tokyo
Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan
when being in a train during rush hour, and there's lots of people around you,if you happened to be molested, just grab the hand and scream out 'chikan'! others will come help
