Travel Tips from people who've been to Malindi
Malindi is a beautiful place, although it's better not to hang around at night. I stayed at DRIFTWOOD Hotel at the beach near the most beautiful marinepark I ever seen.
So take those goggles with you!!!
Go on a walk to the sandbank in front of the coast and see the most amazing starfish you ever seen... looks like plastic but isn't.
Do not buy any shells as souvenier, it's illegal to take stuff from the sea and it keeps the Marine National Park to stay in good condition!!
I went there on my own, walked along the beach for 5 days. It's save and it's fun... if your into a chat with some local guys. Do not go out at night!!
If you go to Malindi you defintly need to by a 'kikoy' (more known as 'sarong') there beautiful and top quality! Good tip?
Good tip? (0) Take a glass bottom boat trip and make sure you take the opportunity to get in the sea and snorkel. Snorkels usually provided, but don't forget your towel. Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Malindi
