Travel Tips from people who've been to Mombasa
FOR DIVING or BOAT TRIP Not far away from there is Mombasa and many little fisherman villages, like Shimoni...The beach and landscape are awesome. And its easy to go into the village and make some "friends" :) specially childrens... For divers or snorkellers I recomend: Liquid Marine. Is a small Diving Center, but the best. And the Crew its very cool and responsable... You will spend some nice time there... Kisses www.liquidmarine.net -Shimoni- Good tip? Good tip? (0) Make an effort to get to know the locals. If you stay at a resort hotel, they will convince you the 'beach boys' are there to rup you off. They're not. They are just trying to make a living. If you get to know them, they will provide you with the most interesting tours you can do, trips into the local villages, guided tours at low tide of the coral gardens, all for a small tips. Making local friends goes a long way. Good tip? (0)
