In Nairobi- Most Kenyans wants to be the boss. When Coming through an airport walk straight through and don't check bags unnecessarily-If you do chances are that you'll be there for a few hours explaining why you brought certain items into kenya.

Mombasa to Nairobi by night train was a very pleasing event. Have an interesting orient express feeling. Do not expect much comfort tho, as the track is somewhat old and many stops for the local wildlife.

Nairobi is a gr8 place. It has the old reminence of the British empire and u can see their influences, if u look hard enough. But u can also experiance the true africa and make it your own experiance, which u will never forget.

Kibera is probably the biggest slum in Kenya. Don't go there unless you have a local guide who can be trusted. Take care of yourself and your belongings, and don't bring big money in there or things you care about like camera. Get out of there before darkness falls.
