Travel Tips from people who've been to Rift Valley Region

Don't miss the sweet mart, friendliest staff and a welcome taste of home. I was hooked on masala chips amazing. and at the hotel in nakuru on the main road (can't remember what its called) you can pay just to use the pool, a real winner if your traveling and staying in less luxurious settings. If you are in nakuru for more than a week make sure you make friends with the market traders - they may take you to where they buy their goods! a real treasure trove of jewelry but alas I was sworn to secrecy!

A great place to live, its right between the city and the countryside.
Nice and quiet, pretty safe as long as you have a properly fenced home, there wont be a problem.
its also a good place to have a little getaway home, and if you happen to want to live there, there is a great American high school and a high rated elementary and middle school as well.
