Travel Tips from people who've been to Quthing
Quthing is a district capital in southern Lesotho. Rather small by European standards it has population of about 15,000. The most striking feature of the area is the rich rock art, testimony to the Bushmen who lived there for millenia. Real impressive! Hunting scenes and paintings of daily family life in bright colours dating back many centuries still welcome the awe-struck visitor as if they were painted yesterday. Upstream from Moyeni are many important fossil sites, with an important fossil footprint site close to the town in the process of being developed for visitors. Good tip?
