Tripoli Travel Guide

I couldn't quite believe this place at first. The souq in the old medina is unlike any other in the Arabic speaking world. You get NO hassle at all. Wander around, have a chat with some locals, walk into a few shops. It's a thoroughly relaxing experience after places like Egypt and Morocco!

Tarabulus,طرابلس or Tripoli is a capital city of Libya.Tripoli has a population of 1.69 million.Tripoli is the largest city, the principal sea port, and the largest commercial and manufacturing centre in Libya.many exited street in Tripoli.for example,Emhemmed Elmgharief Street in central Tripoli has some of the best examples of Italianate colonial architecture in Tripoli and many old building.Medina,The Assaraya al-Hamra (the Red Castle),Karamanli mosques,and Green Square.

I would suggest to stay in Tripoli in the 4 Star "Four Seasons 2". It is nice located with Western Standards for a reasonable  price.
For dinner you already find good restaurants. I would suggest to go to the Restaurant "Tripoli" directly at the harbor. I really recommend the fish market (In the east of Tripoli). To go there you need to take cab.
