  8232127Two good reasons to go here. First is Trakai Castle, which, in the centre of a lovely lake, may well be one of Lithuania's best sights. And second, the hordes of newlyweds who have their photos taken here. Both aspects are highly rewarding, plus you can have lunch overlooking the lake, and Lithuanian food is bloody good. Thumbs up! Good tip? (0)  002The castle and surroundings are worth a visit, if the weather is nice I would even recommend a boat trip arround the various lakes.
The village itself isn't all that impressive, apart from the somewhat strange houses, you won't find much interesting here.

Trakai Castle is absolutly stunning, you feel like you traveled back to the times of King Arthur and his nights.
