Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania and a former temporary capital. It is served by the freeways Via Baltica (E67) and Vilnius—Klaipėda (A1). (0) Nice and relatively cheap food in most of the local restaurants in the city centre. Absolutely beautiful pizza at MILANO, a pizzeria located inside an old style rather soviet-looking restaurant, A. Mickeviciaus Street. Good tip? (0) Very nice city, where everyone know each other. Kaunas is also the home town of George Maciunas, the father of Fluxus art. So don't forget to go the picture gallery, where a big part of the museum is dedicated to it. Good tip?
