Most locals speak English are familiar with, but it is always a good show of character to learn some basic phrases in the native vernacular. A courteous "thank you" goes a long way. I have found many natives to be equally friendly if you show the same compassion and respect for their culture. The common misconception about "Americans" is that people are arrogant. Help to discourage this misconception by showing respect for other cultures. However, as in any unfamiliar locations, be aware of your personal belongings. Crowded streets are safe bets for pick pockets. Always check for your belongings every few minutes to make sure your IDs (passports) and money are always secure.

Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg
Visit the thermae of Mondorf-Les-Bains.
Very well organised, swimming pools with hot spring water, finnish saunas, whirlpools, etc.
Ideal for relaxing and enjoying peace, calm and nature...
There is a very nice hotel next to the thermae, that holds a very good restaurant.

The most peaceful city I have ever been. It is green everywhere. There no traffic, no noise, no crowds or no pollution.Green, green and green. A calm, rich, beautiful city and country at the same time. Living in Luxembourg may be a little boring but you can spend a weekend to have some rest. Also the best Subway that my friends and I ate during our eurotrip was in Luxembourg:)
