Best Time to Visit Macau
Macau, Macau
There is not much to do other than gambling and eating in Macau. There are many casinos you can visit, but there is one restaurant you NEED to visit. It is Fernando in Ha Sac Beach. If you travel in small group, the best way to get there is taxi, save you all the waiting and slow moving bus. When you get there during dining time, quickly approach the waiting list to get your name in the list. Afterward, you may have time to walk around to see the very small beach. Try whatever you fancy, I like them all!

Macau has a distinct flavor that keeps it separate from Hong Kong, namely, the exciting casino lifestyle. Although Portuguese is technically an official language, due to previous colonization, don't expect to use it too commonly; the preferred language is Cantonese, followed by English and Mandarin.

Por favor, por favor.... por vavorcito!!! No griten muy duro si ganan algún premio en las máquinas tragamonedas... La seguridad del casino puede rodearlos DE INMEDIATO y hacerlos sentir un poco cohibidos :$

Macau is must see when you are travelling within HongKong. It's a chinese territory that still holds the influences of European flavor. It's a world where you see the chinese and Portuguese culture blended into one. There is still an edifice of an old Church that still stands supported by steel scaffolding behind and a fort that was once used to fend off enemies attacking the island. Cannons are still displayed within the forth, and when you reach the top of the climb of the fort you will see a splendid view of the city. The tower where you can go bungee jumping can be seen from the top of the fort.

Be sure to venture out from the casinos or resorts and see the Cathedral, with many great shops leading up the hill.
