Travel Tips from people who've been to Kuantan
A nice town in the East of Malaysia peninsula. There is not much to see in town itself, thus main activities are relaxing and eating. The best place in town (although a bit pricey) is Grand Hyatt. The facility is 5 stars and the private beach is clean. If you fed up with hotel's food, go next door (outside the hotel) where small stalls selling local food. 2 nights stay should be enough to rejuvenate your body and soul. Good tip? (0) You must visit the resorts in Kuantan. They are truly beautiful. I was there during Monsoon and the beaches were alittle dirty, but still breath taking. Take your own toilet paper. Public bathrooms do not have supply it. Good tip? (0) One of the best places in Malaysia to enjoy the powdery white sand, clear bue skies, where the horizon is far, far away Good tip?
