If you are diver or snorkeler or if you even like marine life a little bit you've got to see this island!!
It's one of the best diving spots i have ever seen in my life!
I was there in July 2008 and i saw loads of cool stuff including more than 10 turtles, sharks, huge schools of Barracudas etc.
We eventually just missed a whaleshark the other day NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
You can get to that island from Semporna. Boats are fully booked at all times during high season, but if you look around you might just be lucky! Try Scuba Junkies in Semporna Ocean Tourism Center or Uncle Changs (they have a office at the Dragon Inn) for budget diving and accomodation. (They even have room on Mabul (15 minutes to Sipadan with boat))
The Dragon Inn in Semporna is also a good and cheap option to stay. As far as I have seen these are your cheapest choices!
