If you are flying in to the Maldives and need a place to stay for 1 or 2 nights before your final destination / resort...do NOT stay at the Hulhule Airport hotel. Go to Male island and stay in a much cheaper hotel such as Mookai or head to a nearby island by speed boat like Sheraton Full Moon (which offers transfer at late night - I arrived at 2am and they still picked me up). The airport island hotel does not offer enough for it's price.

Die Flughafenisel mit einer Start- bzw. Landebahn. Sieht man gezwungenermassen. Der Anflug bei schönem Wetter ist traumhaft. Die blau-türkis schimmernden Atolle im Meer sehen aus wie Perlen.
