It was here that I became officially Lost in Translation. Over 1,100 islands spread across the Indian Ocean...beautiful water, great surf, utter seclusion....except for those DAMN PIRATES (true story)!!!

02110I have now been to three islands and had a relaxing time and met some good freinds , my advice is to try it .
take an underwater camera with you as the sealife is well worth a look even if you dont swim some waters are shallow enough to wade out and see some fish including small sharks & rays .
also take some good books it is that relaxing ! enjoy .

280451064I've seen some tips that visiting the capital is not worth it - well I have to disagree. The capital island is well worth a visit if you want something more than just staying at a resort. It's perfectly safe to walk around and do some shopping or eat some local food and learn a bit about the people who live here. Highly recommended!
