Planning a Trip to Maldives
Maale, Male' Atolls, Maldives Male is not a huge island. From end to end, it dosnt take much time to travel. Yet, the traffic can be busy at best, since the cobbled roads are fairly narrow and theres really not much space to expand. The best way to travel around is to get a cab. They`re pretty comfortable, air-conditioned and relatively inexpensive. In my limited experience, they seemed fairly reliable too. Theres a fixed point-to-point fare for any distance on the island- 15 rufiyaa, which is about a dollar. Good tip? (0) Lohifuri, Maldives Actually, it is called Lohifushi or it was... The island resort is very quiet and peaceful- the perfect place to relax and enjoy some down time. It is also probably the best place to stay in the Maldives if you like surfing- with one nice break on the reef. Daily surfing safaris too. Other activities besides lounging on the beach include windsurfing, snorkling, scuba diving, and fishing. You must head out on the main jetty in the evening to see the sharks! Good tip? (0) Maale, Male' Atolls, Maldives le club med et je vous recommande la suite sur pilotis, c'est le muste du muste, je n'ai rien vu de pareil avant, si cela vous interesse, vous pouvre voir mes photos. Good tip? (0) Kuredu, Maldives 3 words: paradise on earth. just a lil bigger than the regular maldive-island but also lots more to do than on a really small island. Good tip? (0) Maale, Male' Atolls, Maldives Dont forget to take some cotton beach wear Good tip? (0) Maale, Male' Atolls, Maldives Overpriced, but beautifull. Make sure you are on the right isle if you wanna make some scubadives. Some of the isles are ruined by tourism. Lovely place if you have a lot of money to spent and one relax of some nice days on the beach. Good tip? (0) Maale, Male' Atolls, Maldives The capital of Maldives is not worth spending time in unless you are waiting to catch a boat connection to your island resort. The narrow streets tend to be crowded at night with large amounts of people just standing around, which may explain why this Muslim country has the highest divorce rate. Good tip?
