Senglea is a very quaint city, despite most of it has been rebuilt after WWII. Walking down the narrow streets you can hear sounds from the flats above and that somehow made me feel I was really a part of the community (which we left over 50 years ago). I connected with my history. I was born on Mermaid St. which you can see on the left in Picture 2
