Valletta, Malta
I love Valletta. So many places to see and so international city.
Valletta, Malta
"Kings Garden" An awesome sightseeing place, a good place for lovers to carve their names into the stone walls (: Has beautiful fountains and flowers. When looking down from there you can see the text "merhba" in a bush (: Merhba is welcome in Maltese. There is no enterance fee.
Valletta, Malta

Zurrieq, Malta
zurrieq has the amazing blue grotto which is a must.. just pick bus number 32 or 34 to zurrieq or the direct 38 bus
Ta' Qali, Malta
Ta' Quali is a war time RAF base. Today there is a very friendly aviation museum that concentrates on the aircraft that relate to the history of the island. There is a nice Spitfire and a Hurricane in a state of restoration. You can even now see the controll tower and Nissen huts for the airmen.
Marsaxlokk, Malta
My absolute favorite place on earth! An incredibly long market, excellent fish restaurants and perfect places to swim very nearby! Top!
Valletta, Malta
Lo mejor es tener el hotel dentro de Valletta o, al menos, cerca de la estación de autobuses
Xlendi, Malta
Xlendi is a relaxing place where one can have a beer directly on the beach front. It's not a big place by any standard, but worth visiting. The disco on the hillside was judged to be he 3rd best disco setting on europe. Don't miss a visit to the ice cream place.
Valletta, Malta
After a 7 days visit to Malta, I would not rate myself as the Malta expert, but here are my thoughts... Food restaurants: domestic speciality - everything with rabbit, they don't put too much spices in the food and very little salt, I have eaten in a lot of places but in general I am far from impressed, comparing with Italian and Greek cousine. Best tips - "Pepe" (I think is the name of restaurant) in Pacevile and "Rafael" in Pacevile, there where couple nice one's in Vitoriosa but I didn't remember the name. Siesta is from 15h-19h, so a lot of places are closed for lunch. General impressions: A place for old people - if you are wondering where are the old people from your towm, don't worry they are in Malta. Hotels accommodations: Hilton was a great experience, with a excellent view of a small harbour and open sea. You can rent an apartment for a month for 300-400eur, or even buy a one (fully furnished) for aprox 100k eur, but I recon it's not a good investment. There are a lot of apartments and restaurants out on sale which is not a surprise for me having in mind how other coasts in vicinity look like compering to Malta (Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Turkey). Nightlife: If your idea of fun is drinking beer in Murphy's/Tod's/James's/... bar then there is night life. Sightseeing Attractions: There are only couple of beaches which are crowded and small. In Comino which is a small island on the north there is something called a "blue lagune"a place that should be visited (deserving the name), in addition on Gozo (another island in north) there are couple of beaches (red sand) - nothing extra... Malta aqualand is small and old so it's a place not worth visiting. There are a lot of nice fortresses all over the place standing as a proof of the rich history.
