Port Louis Travel Guide

A voir  a Port Louis le Caudan (shopping) et le marché avec son quartier chinois.Le musée ou l'on peut voir un dodo  reconstitué grandeur nature.Pour les divers déplacements se renseigner auprès des nombreux taxis pas cher mais a comparer(possibilité  pour 1/2 journée ou journée complète.Toutefois il faut quand même prendre au moins  une fois un autobus local afin de voir la façon de piloter (c'est pas triste) un casse vitesse est parfois franchi à l'allure normale et comme ils sont d'une certaine hauteur on décolle du siège.
Il faut noter aussi que certains receveur de bus n'encaissent  que lors de la descente du bus(ainsi il ne délivre pas de ticket  et le montant de la course va direct dans sa poche.

le cannonier.a very nice hotel,nice service.lovely mini club for your children but be aware the speak mostly french(most dont mind because they have much fun even if they dont speak the laungage).theme nights every night,beautifull beach the pool is always freezen.the rooms are OK nothing special.ask for ground floor where you can have a sunbed right out of your room.the man in the diving schooll is great!always happy(i think he is on something)!but he is safe and very kind.book a taxi driver for your trips its much cheaper.have a lovely holiday!

I stayed at Le Suffren hotel by the waterfront of Port Louis, and have to say that I'd recommend it to any person travelling through Mauritius. It's just across the river from a large shopping area and has great service and friendly staff. The only down-side was their slow Internet connection, but I hear they're working on a faster solution now.
