Lovely beach - north on the island - Cotton bay - with a nice restaurant (avvoid the chocolate icecream).
Rented a 125 motorcycle - and explored the island.
Very friendly locals.
Highly recommended - but it`a bit awkward to get there....

05927This is a small sand island that is a little more than an hour west of Rodrigues. Ile Cocos is a nature reserve so there is no overnight camping and you need to have a permit to visit. I really enjoyed walking around the island along it's paths. For some reason it seemed to me that colours were just a bit more intense here. If you do go to Rodrigues island, Ile Cocos is a great little day trip.

02720Visiting this off the beaten track island is a real 'at world's end experience'. Come for the deserted golden beaches and the peace and quiet.
