Planning a Trip to Baja California

Oh man!! What can i say about this place. This place is awesome allthough the "tequila" is watered down there is clubs everywhere (some better than others) but still a lot of fun. and the best part is that you can get drunk then walk it off on the beach. and then jump in the pool in the hotel room. Then next day you can ride horses or quad's. Great times ;)

I am going to ensenada twice a week...i HATE it!!! Im working on the cruise ship and this port is the biggest dissappointment ever...if you want to go to mexico and really feel it just choose some other place to go like cozumel,or chichen itza for example. Anyway,when you are going to ensenada,you can do and see very few things,and here they are(im saying very few because almost every street is leading to part of the town with really cheap porno clubs and that is the place you dont want to go even if you are type of the person who likes that kind of things) if you want to have fun in the bars you have papas and beers,and mango mango,personally i prefer the first one,it is nicer,more people is going there and it is quite affordable,if you are woman DO NOT go on any of these places alone! ok lets keep on moving...if you want to eat in ensenada you will see a lot of small restaurants,offering discounts to the cruisers and other tourists but what i am doing is this,i always go to eat only on the places where locals are eating,maybe you will have to walk a bit further but you will avoid overpriced places with bad chinese or mexican food. Anyhow,when you are on the way to ensenada,bring the book,and go to relax on the pool side of st. Thomas hotel,after all that is the best place to be in that town... and when you come back tell me if you had a good time...

The tourist trap IS Tijuana -- you begin encountering it at the moment you cross the border. Remember that this is being written by someone with deep affection for Mexico and C. America. We walked over, passing through Immigration in San Diego, and the 'walk of shame' (as it became known in short order) was one endless parade of pathetic hawkers whose merchandise set the tone for the shabby afternoon. Do you crave donkeys painted as zebras? You'll love Tijuana -- and you'll treasure the photo taken next to the ass. But then, which one is which?

Plaza Río Tijuana. Come and explore the most important malls of the city, visiting the big departmental stores, were you can find a great variety of clothes, shoes, perfumes and imported appliances. In the same way, enjoy its different cafeterias and restaurants were you would find since our traditional Mexican food to exotic courses of international character.

Go visit Tijuana..it is such a very different place when compared to cities in the United States.

don't accept invites to "a show" cash only - leave everything $100 in the hotel safe when you venture out

dont eat the food and haggle when buying stuff

Try to walk there from San Diego the contrasts are amazing!
