When in Tijuana, watch for bad drivers who will spalsh water on you while you wait to cross the street. Also, be wary of young children on the street who will follow you around begging for money. It is truly an adventure!

Watch your belongings at all times.  A little kid tried to steal my watch while running by.

General Impressions, rock lobster is very cheap and very good with a cold bottle of SOL. Ensure you get insurance for your vehicle as parking is very tight in some areas. Overall the visit to Ensenada was great. Kids had fun with the fireworks, that we set off on the beach. Lots of shopping at very cheap prices as well. But most importantly is the food; lobster, refried beans, rice and tortillas as well as carnitas and carne asada.

Tijuana,is the funniest place I have ever partied although it is very dirty,very dangerous and everyone is trying to steal or hussle you formoney around every turn. children selling chiclets is not a joke and neither is the ridiculous amount of stray dogs and animals on the street. I suggest for first timers,that they have a guide or someone experienced with going to mexico and particularly tijuana. Knowing spanish is very important,even though most locals speak english. NEVER give anyone money to bring you change,you will get robbed,even if your at the bar or strip club and you thought he was your waiter and you thought he worked there. When actually random locals just stand out in front of different strip clubs and try to get you to go in,just so they can serve you drinks and be your waiter,only for the tips that you give them. So it's not suprising that if you give them a 20 or 50 for 10 in drinks they can bring you back a 5 and say that you gave them a 20 instead of a 50 or a 10 instead of a 20. So have fun but most of all BE CAREFUL,Dont get too Drunk! I have been there many times and I never have gotten robbed or hurt but I have felt like I was a dangerous situation once or twice. Also know that kidnapping gringo's (americans) is NOT over,and that does still happen. I love mexico but tijuana and mexicali are sesspools of american filth and combined crime. Our demand for the things tijuana offers,prevents it from recovering from the drugs and crime. If you want to go somewhere opposite,then I recommend san-felipe. Not one strip club in the entire town,and you feel generally safer. The policia are more concerned withg your safety and less concern with corruption.

The best place to vacation in mexico! So far nothing has beaten it! Quadding,Giant Shrimp and I mean GIANT. Great food,and pretty safe!
