Ciudad Juarez, Mexico City & Surrounds, Mexico Went on some mission work here. Building a sunday school room for a poor church and doing some sunday school leasons. Definetly a place to watch your wallet and being the socond murder capital of the world never go anywhere alone, male or female! A real eye opener. Good tip? experience I can tell you, that as long as you don't run around in
expensive clothes and shoes without any jewelry, noboy will do you any
harm. Actually it's the opposite: Mexicans are warm hearted people how
are very proud of their country, and especially of Mexico City, and
like to share their knowledge of it with everybody! Very important to see, besides the usual things you can read in every guide, are the different markets in different parts of the town (especially the "TEPITO" market. There are more museums in Mexico City that you could possibly count. We found gallery after gallery just walking down the street. Admission was as little as a dollar. Good tip? (+1) Cuernavaca, Mexico City & Surrounds, Mexico If there is one thing you must do in Cuernavaca that would be to take a stroll through the walkway which runs along side the river/stream. I also thoroughly enjoyed the house belonging to Richard Brady, which is now a museum. Good tip? Always bring your own water bottle (or just buy one at the "tiendita de la esquina" and stay away from unknown taxis!!!! Always make sure it's from a certified taxi place :p Good tip?
