Un pueblo agradable, pintoresco como varios pueblos en México, y por supuesto vale la pena visitarlo pues es cuna de nuestro movimiento de Independecia. Justo frente al palacio Municipal, se encuentra la primera estela (en forma de cabeza de águila) que marca el camino que el curo Hidalgo siguió en lo que hoy se conoce como ruta de Independecia.
