Travel Tips from people who've been to Northwest Mexico
There is an awesome jungle cruise in San Blas, where you take a little boat filled with up to 15 people and the driver drives you thru all these canals pointing out birds and the huge crocodiles that are lying on the banks or swimming in the water beside you. In the middle of the tour they take you to a little restraunt and animal farm ( crocodiles in cages) as well they have one canal netted off where you can go swimming in this silky blue water for an hour or so before the boat heads back to the beginning. I highly recommend it as it was an awesome experience and being so close to the huge crocodiles in the wild was amazing!

learn spanish slang so you don't sound like a tourist/exchange student.  bring sun screen, your own drink, don't drink the water (of course), coffee is safe or alcohol.  stay by the beach if you don't know you're way around. the cities are cool if you don't go off the beaten path too much. don't even THINK about bringing foreign food past the border - unless you're looking for a little extra adventure. don't hand out money and don't take any deal that sounds too good to be true b/c it is.

When your in Mazatlan, Mexico all you have to remember is to ask for the Best TEQUILLA(silver) Chilled in ICE. We stay at PUEBLO BONITO resort. Tan, swim, and go for long walk. You might get hungry so eat plenty of seafood it's always fresh, like the oysters, and shrimp look like little lobsters. If you don't do sea food then try MOLE(a dark sauce made from Chile's and CHOCOLATE) yummy try the enchiladas or empanadas. Then end your night dancing at the local nightclubs!!!!
