This is a veritable textile museum come handicraft site ... almost every family in this little village is into the textile business... where they manufacture colourful stuff using a range of dyes (the red one comes from an insect that is cultivated in many homes).... stroll around.... the people are lovely here...

This is the best place in Mexico to buy woven textiles - especially colorful handmade rugs.  Literally every family in this village has a tradition of weaving and with the dollar still strong against the peso, it's a great time to buy unique textile art.
