If you happen to be on the Island of Yap, this is where it's all going on. That's not saying much, but hey, you don't come to Yap for the nightlife. Colonia's got a few decent restaurants and you can buy the supplies you need to get to the outer islands. One funny thing -- the sidewalk near the city center is painted red. Why? Because that way, it doesn't show all the spit stains from local betel nut chewers.

It's a fun trip and there are a couple of primitive stores. Watch out for the native girls they can be a bit aggressive. Just make sure not to be alone with one of them.
