Sandra's Tip on Jerusalem
Jerusalem, Israel
Go visit the old city in Jerusalem, walk through the streets of the market, on any friday evening watch the sunset over the western wall. ladies please remember to cover your legs (don't wear shorts or really short skirts)
2.
Karolin's Tip on Shiraz
Shiraz, Fars Province, Iran
You have to visit the grave of Hafez, it is a very nice atmosphere at night. Also the Persepolis or "Takhte Jamshid" is a must.
3.
Kourosh's Tip on Esfahan
Esfahan, Ishafan Province, Iran
They call Esfehan, half of the WORLD in Iran. It's such an amazing city. The architecture of the buildings are from 500 years ago and they are just wonderful. It has some great bridges and very cool stuff to do there.
4.
Kourosh's Tip on Bam
Bam, Yard and Kirman Region, Iran
Bam is the greatest mud city in the world. Sigh, the earth quick of 2004 destroyed most of this beautiful city....
5.
Parisa's Tip on Esfahan
Esfahan, Ishafan Province, Iran
Isfahan (actually: Esfehan) is one of the most beautiful cities of Iran. I went there as a four year old child and the one thing I remember so clearly is the impression it made on me. With it's colourfull mosques and large squares it's a must see if you go to Iran. It has great architecture and Esfehan has been designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esfahan
6.
Moe's Tip on Esfahan
Esfahan, Ishafan Province, Iran
This city has many places to visit so if you decide to go there, plan ahead of time. Get a cab for the whole day and tell them where you want to go, the drivers usually know the best route to maximize the places you can visit. Of course you want to visit the bazaars too, so many hand-made souvenirs to be purchased!
7.
Wandi's Tip on Ad Dawhah
Ad Dawhah, Qatar
Fantastic for the it's outstanding water front...The Corniche.Go sailing with Captain Mike out of the marina at the Sheraton.Excellent Indian food in most every restaurant. The Chinese food is rancid. For the sports enthusiast, you'll find venues for nearly every sport imaginable professional and amateur facilities are state-of-the-art and bountiful. The men are gorgeous and plentiful. Women are gorgeous too....but if you're a man, you'll rarely experience the pleasure of getting to know these Muslim beauties.Pearl and Paloma are the two popular clubs in town. But Cloud 9 and Garfield's are much funkier fare for the expats that live in Doha.Driving in Doha can be daunting as the roads are still rather new (or still under construction). this means that signage is minimal and experienced local drivers do not obey any implied traffic safety rules.
8.
Kourosh's Tip on Hamadan
Hamadan, Northwestern Iran, Iran
The oldest capital city of Iran, the history of this city goes back to 3000 years! It's a great city to visit. You'd love it by seeing all the development that mankind had in 3000 years ago.
9.
Jonatan's Tip on Kuwait
Kuwait, Kuwait
Foll.ow local customs to avoid trouble, but the country is pretty westernized compare to its neighbors
10.
Miranda's Tip on Tehran
Tehran, Tehran & Surrounding Region, Iran
Tehran's best non-museum sight, the haphazard bazaar is so big it's practically a separate city. Each corridor specialises in a particular commodity; you'll be pounced upon in the carpet area. Just wander around the labyrinth of streets and alleys - don't try to navigate, you'll inevitably get lost. The best time to visit is in the morning.
