Zandvoort is famous for 2 things: 1 the racing circuit. That looks out over the dunes towards the second thing: The sea and beach clubs!
Walking 15 minutes towards the north and you will find Bloemendaal beach where are even more party's. Small and really special party's during the week and big and commercial in the weekends. Always top dj's and beautiful people!

Almere-Stad, Eastern Netherlands, Netherlands
If you are planning to go there from further then 50 km away, please don't go there, there must be a better city nearby. Everybody who lives in Almere-stad lives there because they have a job in Amsterdam, but they can't find a place to live over there.
There is no culture, no night life, no fun at all.

Eastern Netherlands Sports
Enschede, Eastern Netherlands, Netherlands
First of all, i come from Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia or widely known as Borneo. One may think what am i doing in Enschede?? Well, my dad studied here, in Enschede. Enschede is the home of the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences (ITC). My trip here was on official purpose accompanying my dad other delegates from different parts of the states in Malaysia. Lucky for me my sister, we were brought along to enjoy ourselves after our graduations. So here is just a brief story of my trip to Enschede. Just a stone´s throw from the German border this is a sleepy littly town with genuine dutch feeling. You will find that it has a nice downtown shopping area which becomes truly buzzing on a Saturday when the farmers market is spread all over the area. Here you can buy anything from clothes pins to flowers, from huge lumps of Holland cheese to soap. Holland cheese, emmm, simply delicious! Do not under any circumstances miss out on the fabulous fried fish with Pommes Spezial (french fries with ketchup, mayonaise and onions). You can easily go to Enschede by train from Germany (regional trains from Münster, apprx 1hour) or from any dutch town (to Amsterdam apprx 2hours). Enschede is a nice little town, but there is nothing to see here. Town is full of Germans who come across the boarder to buy hash.

Urk, Eastern Netherlands, Netherlands
Urk is an old fishing village. It is considered the most traditional place in the Netherlands. Until they closed off the zuiderzee it was an island. Very religous so don't bother going on a Sunday. They also don't speak very good English there and speak a weird highbred of Dutch so watch out if you aren't too good with the language it can be a bit difficult here.

Zwolle, Eastern Netherlands, Netherlands
My hometown!! Lovely city. Not too small, not too big. And a old city centre with some parts of the old citywall still standing. Lay down in the grass along the `gracht`, the channel around the old citycentre, have lunch in 'De 4 Azen'. Go shopping and have an icecream at Salute (Diezerstraat). Then rent a bike and just explore the city, and head south towarts the river. Some nice sceneries there.
