0478Leeuwarden is nice little city in the north of The Netherlands. It is easy to get to via train with one change in Zwolle or Amersfoort from Schiphol or the Hague or direct from Rotterdam. You can also drive over the dike called Afluitdijk from Amsterdam. If you come by boat there is plenty of space and many services.

0173Well, Leeuwarden is quite small but is such a nice Dutch city. You have canals all over the town just like in Amsterdam. Not to forget are small cafés and old houses which are quite leaning now but still beautiful.
