0367There is one reason only to visit Lisse, to see the Spring Gardens of Europe, Keukenhof! The gardens are open from March until May each year and boast over 6 million bulbs of tulips. There are no words that adequately express the true beauty of these gardens so you must experience them to understand. There is a small Golden Tulip Hotel within a 20 minute walk of the gardens. It's nothing fancy but quiet and clean with a decent restaurant.
