0161A must visit for wine-lovers. Try the classic Marlborough Savs and the dry Reislings. We managed about twenty of the wineries in Blenheim and Renwick and weren't even half way there.
Even in the middle of winter the weather was pleasant. The best part was having most of the cellar doors to ourselves so we got to try everything and really talk to the proprieters.

002My growing-up town. Great for lovers of New Zealand wines. Marlborough is famous for is Sav Blancs - so many to choose from. Set up base in Renwick, hire a cycle, ride around and stop and sample the local vintages. Apart from that; don't expect much nightlife in Blenheim town - unless your a great fan of the NZ country pub!

01812A good place to sight see. You've got Picton 20 min away and Whites bay both popular beach places in the summer. You've got the Blues Brews and BBQ's every Feb and The Wine and Food Festival which is always a hit.
